Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 15 October 2026

At Field Cottage Designs, we want our website to be welcoming, accessible and straightforward to use for everyone, including visitors with disabilities.

We are committed to improving accessibility as we develop our website and online shopping experience.

Our approach to accessibility

We aim to make our website as easy as possible to navigate and use, with particular attention to:

Clear and consistent navigation throughout the website.
Readable typography and appropriate colour contrast.
Descriptive alternative text for relevant images.
A usable experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Supporting customers who use keyboards or assistive technologies.

These are our accessibility objectives, and we recognise that further improvements may be needed.

Current accessibility status

Our website is built using Shopify and the Prestige theme.

We have not yet undertaken a comprehensive, independent accessibility audit and therefore do not currently claim conformity with a particular level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Some features, particularly third-party applications, product personalisation options and interactive elements, may present accessibility challenges.

We intend to identify and address barriers as part of our ongoing website development.

Assistance and alternative arrangements

If you experience difficulty accessing information, navigating our website, personalising a garment or completing an order, please contact us.

Email: hello@fieldcottagedesigns.co.uk

Where possible, please include the page you were visiting and a brief description of the difficulty encountered.

We will do our best to assist you and provide information through an alternative method where reasonably possible.

Feedback and ongoing improvement

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our website.

As an independent design studio, we continually review and refine our online experience, and accessibility forms part of that process.
